I, as one of the smartest in several of my classes, think some homework sucks. I go to Newton North, which is reputedly one of the best schools in the country. It's funny by the fact that in the harder classes the teachers only count that you did the homework, not grading it, and they don't factor it in with the grade. It only counts as a bias for cases of B+/A- type decisions. I often finish the work in school. In the easier classes you can get detentions for incomplete or missing work. Next year I'll be going into higher level classes and I'm sure I'll get more work but I'll have more studies. Latin seems to be the only class you need to do homework in to succeed since he will lower grades if you didn't do any homework and it really helps you grasp the topic. That's all I have to say for now.

I know this is like 2 years late but anyways. I am also really smart and have easy homework. I agree that homewrok sucks but living in Israel with no electricity is not all that bad homewoek is better though. One thing I don't understand why we do homework. It is not like our teachers correct or collect it.
