"But this is one circumstance where you won't be able to reconcile society and your faith."

Well duh, these are the people saying the bible is true, dontcha think they should go by it? And if it says being homosexual is wrong (which it does, and homosexuality is wrong) then why would they have a bishop who is a gay guy? I mean, come on now, aren't you being kinda stupid? It's like saying that judges don't have to follow the laws because they were written by fallible men. Even if that WAS so (which it's not) they stil have to follow it because they believe it.

No, see, making value judgements on the lifestyles of others is what's wrong, pal. I see Mark 16 and wonder why you aren't out there dancing around trying to heal people and playing with snake venom?

We know laws have loopholes, but they're accepted by society because we want the protection and order they afford; not because "God says so." You're going to lose this one in the long one, buddy. Learn to accept it or start building your own complex on Mount Carmel so the government can set you on fire, too. ;-)

(And conveniently, a judge just got suspended for refusing to obey a legal order. God didn't win that dispute, and "He" won't win the homosexual one either.)

There's no loopholes in the truth. That's just a fact, second, I didn't make any judgement on anyone's lifestyle. God did. THen we've got this "lose this one" there's nothing to lose. I'm not God's attorney and I'm not trying to prove anything. God can't lose because he made it. It's not that he's trying to prove to a point to you it's not that he has to. The rule was made long ago and there are no contradictions or loopholes, and you won't be able to find any... You can misinterpret it, because you're not saved and it's foolish to you. Which is why I can't prove to you that being gay is wrong. Society is wrong and God is right. No dispute no argument. You can't fight truth because it just is. You can't change it.

No, see, what you're doing is taking the ignorant position that your "God" is the only one out there. The simple "truth" (which, according to you, cannot be refuted) is that there are those of us that don't share your beliefs. Hence, God's "word" doesn't mean jack to us.

If we're not "saved", that's our decision to make. Deal with it. Society can be wrong; we'll find out when we die. Until then, you live your life the way you want to, but don't criticize the way others live theirs.

My God is the only one that matters. You don't care... I don't care that you don't. My God doesn't require that you believe in him, or get saved, or even care. You will find out when you die. And it's sad. My God doesn't require you to believe in Him. He offers salvation as a gift, you don't have to take it you can believe whatever you want. But you can never make what you say anything but, maybe we may be right, you can't even justify your own beliefs other than to say, "hey it's what I want to believe".. What does it tell you? What does the general rebellion from God tell you. Nothing. Nothing at all... not yet, Sir... not yet, because one day you will cry that you didn't listen to God when you were supposed to.

I doubt it. And you know what else? I'd appreciate it if you'd cease your comments about this - it's boring. :)

Oh, and I certainly can justify my own beliefs - do you want me to? I'd be happy to lay it all out for you. The general rebellion from God is telling me that finally, people are waking up and smelling the bullshit.
