I say PFFT to Junior first of all, the little teenage brat. Now that I have that off my chest (heheh) how about that stupid JC Pennys. A bigger PFFT goes to them. I swear, everytime I buy something from them (which I pay for with debit, not credit) they ask me to open a JC Penny account. It doesn't do any good to lie and say you already have one because then they'll say you get an extra 10% off if you use it. I have seen the way they open credit card accounts for people at the counter at JCP. (at the top of her lungs) "Sir what is your social security number? OK, so that was 656-78-9993? Did I get that right?". NO thanks! My standard comment is "I don't use credit". The really obnoxious ones will harp on the 10% thing and then I tell them the interest is more than 10%. If they continue to harp, I lay my stuff down and walk out. I go to Penny's because I happen to like their clothing selection and usually you can find stuff on sale. But they better knock off the open an account pitch. So PFFT to opening a credit card account with JC Penny.

I guess this is more of a US thing. In Sweden, you rarely get more than 6 months without interest... So Junior needs to hurry up :) The only company with very lewd behaviour is General Electric Capital. (GE Capital) A big warning here and a HUGE PFFFT! Not only to they make it next to impossible to pay the furniture in time, they also send pre-approved checks, cards and raise the lending limit without asking. A big wet PFFFFT to GE !!! Go back to making missiles and light bulbs!
