Not An Olympic Attitude
by riah <moriah@chatsystems.com>
You know, it's ok to want to be the best at what you do and all. But I find the attitudes of some of the Olympic athletes just appalling. Specifically, I was not impressed with the way the Russian women's gymnastics team acted when they won the silver medal in the team competition. They were disgusted with the medal hanging from their necks and wasted no time in taking it off. Well in my opinion they don't deserve a medal at all. How dare they portray such poor sportsmanship. Needless to say, when the individual competition was underway, I was thrilled when Russia didn't get one medal. A big fat PFFT to "losers." Cheers to the Chinese women for being proud of their bronze!
