I'm So Tired
   by stacy <pfftnet@stacy.pfft.net>

Y'ever have a few days when you have trouble pulling yourself out of bed (more so than usual), you want to nap all day at work (cause you're tired, not cause you're bored), and you get home and all you want to do is go to sleep? That's my situation this week. And it's very unlike me.

I don't enjoy waking up at 7am, but normally 8 hours of sleep is more than enough for me. Heaven knows I got much less than that when I was in college, and my husband insists on going to bed early. I've learned to live with it. I think I'm adjusting a bit too well. This morning I actually slept through the alarm -- a loud morning show at a local rock radio station with very obnoxious hosts. I haven't done that in years.

Wanting to take a nap at work is nothing new. Today, though, I had a rather dry lunch meeting with some sales reps, and afterwards, I just wanted to put my head down on my desk and put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door. I don't drink coffee, but I got some chocolate out of the vending machine, and I suppose that helped some. However, as soon as I got home, I sank into the couch and half-dozed. And it's early now, even earlier than the usual bedtime, but bed sounds wonderful.

Maybe I'm just lazy. Or maybe it's my thyroid acting up again.. I had some problems with it in the past. Who knows? PFFT! knows.
