It Could Be Worse

You could be this guy. If only he'd posted it here, that's one hell of a PFFT! I'm not sure whether I should file this under Current Events or Relationships.

After I got done laughing, this made me think. Our illustrious Senator John Cornyn famously (thanks to the Daily Show) said something to the effect that gay marriage is the same as your next-door neighbor shacking up with a box turtle. I don't know a box turtle from the tortoise that beat the hare, but for all I know, my neighbor is already shacking up with one. What's it to me? I figure John Cornyn should turn his attention to sexual canteloupe abuse. I mean, next thing you know, people will be able to legally marry their canteloupes! Think of the horror! Think of the children!

Eww.

It's funny and sad at the same time. I don't care what your political leanings are, at least half the things going on at any given time must want to make you cry. It's important to laugh at the really sick stuff and keep your perspective. PFFT.
