Group Sentencing
   Anonymous

Why should my GPA have to suffer because I was forced into a group to do an assignment. This is exactly what happened to me. I attend a university that seem to think group work is it. I was placed in a group with people that from the first day never clicked. There were those of us who tried to keep the peace and thankfully because of the few of us we were able to get the presentation together (with lots of tension).

The major problem though was presentation day. Am still in shock and can't believe what happen. Every group member had a part to present and should have know they had to learn it and work on their presentation skills. Infact only a few of us presented the rest, just read and showed no interest in the thing. The instructor was not at all pleased as was visible from her facial expressions during the presentation and her comments after.

I think in cases like these where it is obivious that somepersons did put the extra effort into the presentation then appropriate marks should be awarded. Persons grades shouldn't suffer because of the unreliable, deliqunet members. I hate group work, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.
